Dr. Louis G. Vogt
SPANISH LAKES -- Dr. Louis G. Vogt, DDS, 78, of 16 Mediterranean East, Spanish Lakes, Port St. Lucie, died Friday, December 31st, in Martin Memorial Hospital in Stuart.
He was a native of Dubuque, Iowa, moving to our area 11 years ago from Fort Lauderdale. He was a retired dentist and the recreation director of Spanish Lakes.
He was of the Protestant faith and a member of the Loyal Lodge No. 1007 AF&AM of Joliet, Ill., and the Spanish Lakes Masonic Club.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara, of Spanish Lakes, three stepdaughters, 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1pm today at the Roger L. Byrd Port St. Lucie Funeral Home Chapel. Cremation will follow with inurment in Palm Beach Memorial Gardens Columbarium.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 2pm today until service time.
