June 9, 1932Moravia UnionOBITUARYLaura Margaret, daughter of Armstrong and Clara Lemaster, was bornOctober 10th, 1867 near Albia, Monroe county, Iowa. When about twelveyears of age she moved with her parents to Iconium where she grew to womanhood. November 10, 1889 she was united in marriage to G. F. Argo. Afterher marriage she lived one mile east of Iconium until the spring of 1917, when the family moved to Iconium. She was the mother of one daughter and five sonsó Veva, Harry, George, Ned, Jim and Eugene, all of Iconium and vicinity. She is survived by her children, one step-son, Charley Argo, one brother, Harry Lemaster, five sisters, Mrs. Lida Argo, Mrs. Emma Haver, Mrs. Lottie Swan, and Mrs. Flo McCord, seven grandchildren. Her husband passed away October 8, 1931. During the ministry of Rev. WillDillon she was converted and united with the Iconium M. E. church. Shetook an active interest in the church, serving for several years as presi-dent of the Ladies Aid. She was a most devoted mother. During her long illness her first thought always was for the welfare of her family. So strong within her was the spirit of motherhood that she not only mothered her own family so perfectly but all others who needed a mother's care.Although she was eager to live longer that she might still serve othersshe was willing and ready to submit to the Divine will, The funeral was held from the home in Iconium at 3:30 p. m., Wednesday, June 1st, Rev. J. W. Zerbe in charge. Burial was in Iconium cemetery.
