Mrs. Bailey was a former American Greetings Corporation employee and a member of the Green Road Baptist Church. She was proud to be a Kentucky Colonel and enjoyed gardening and quilting.
On April 3, 1938, she united in marriage with Cecil Bailey in Knox County and to this union two children were born.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil, on June 27, 1990; a son, Ted R. Bailey Sr.; and a sister-in-law, Ruth Miller.
Her funeral service will be conducted in the chapel of the Knox Funeral Home Saturday, January 17 at 2 P.M. with Rev. Brian Hacker, Rev. Darrel Bargo and Rev. Lonnie Collett officiating. Mrs. Bailey will be laid to rest in the Bailey-Miller Cemetery at Green Road.
