Paul F. Brown, of Chesterton, passed away Monday, Dec. 24, 2007 at The Waters of Duneland, Chesterton. He was 91.
He was born Feb. 1, 1916 in Beverly Shores, the son of Wilson and Martha (Groth) Brown, both of whom preceded him in death.
He was preceded in death by his wife Bernice J. Brown in Dec. 1998.
He is survived by nieces Lavera Lambert, of Ariz. and Dorothy (David) Jones, of Chesterton; Emma Nellessen of Chesterton and Francis Donnersberger of Fla. both of whom were raised as sisters to Paul.
He was also preceded in death by brothers Al, Fred, and Sam Brown and his sister Rose Lang.
Paul was a Veteran of WWII, having served in the U.S. Army, and a member of the V.F.W. Post #2536, of Michigan City where he was a Life-Member. He was employed as a crane operator and retired from Inland Steel Co.
Funeral services, Mr. David F. Jones officiating, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 29 at White-Love Funeral Home, 525 S. 2nd St., Chesterton. Burial to follow at Chesterton Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until time of service Saturday at White-Love Funeral Home.
