Mrs. Alberta M. Althouse
Mrs. Alberta M. (Moser) Althouse, 79, of 414 Windsor St., died yesterday in the Community General Hospital.
Born in Reading, a daughter of the late Wellington B. and Mary K. (Rothenberger) Moser, Mrs. Althouse was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ. Her husband, Harry L. Althouse, preceded her in death.
Mrs. Althouse is survived by a son, Richard W. Van Reed, Hershey, and two stepdaughters: Dorothy, wife of Forrest R. Shanaman, former president judge of the Berks County Courts, Reading, and Ann, wife of Alden Fischer, Seattle, Wash., and a sister, Ella M., widow of Robert M. Zellers, at home.
Services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the T. C. Auman, Inc., Funeral Parlors, the Rev. Paul H. Byer Jr. officiating. Burial will be made in Charles Evans Cemetery.
