Maude Reed, 91, Jefferson City, formerly of Crocker, died Dec. 15, 2001, at her home.

She was born Nov. 17, 1910, in Swedeborg, a daughter of Thomas and Christina Tucker Ledbetter. She was married April 10, 1936, to Noah Reed, who died in 1976.

She was a lifelong member of the Christian Church. She was the OATS Bus contact person in Pulaski County for five years and the OATS Volunteer of the Year in 1994. She won the Yard of the Month Award several times.

A homemaker, she was a school teacher at rural schools in Pulaski County.

Survivors include: three sons...; one brother...; 16 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

One daughter, Audrey Smith, and three grandchildren preceded her in death.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Dixon Cemetery. Bro. Junior Bryan and Bro. Rick Smith will officiate.

Memorials are suggested to Crocker Christian Church Building Fund, the Salvation Army or the Hospice of Jefferson City and Mid-Missouri.

Arrangements are under the direction of Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, Dixon.
