Amy Allsworth, 90, of LaJunta died Jan 9, 1992, at Arkansas Valley Regional Nursing Care Center[in LaJunta]. Services are at 2 p.m. Monday at Peacock Memorial Chapel with Phil Collard of the LaJunta Church of Christ officiating. Interment at Fairview Cemetery.

She was born Dec. 15, 1901, in Saguache, where she was reared and attended school. She moved to LaJunta[Otero County] in 1941 where she has resided since. She is survived by two daughters, Hattie Allsworth of Colorado Springs and Grace(Harold) Scofield of LaJunta; a son, Ervin(Anna) McGlothlin of Spring Valley, Calif.; a sister, Mary Hawk of Sacramento, Calif.; plus 18 great-grandchildren, and 13 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Mary and Bertha, and by 10 brothers and sisters.

Donations made be made to the American Diabetes Foundation.

Amy was first married to Thomas McGlothlin who died at age 36 in a car accident.
