Maria Wiens first husband was widower Farmer/Minister Martin Doerksen. They married 1 Jan 1878. They had nine children, six lived to adulthood. That added to the five children he had with his first wife Katherina Goertzen, made a full house. Martin died 30 Nov 1896 in Inman, McPherson, Kansas.
Her second husband was Heinrich F Loewen. They married 22 Feb 1899. Maria became stepmother to 9 children,Margaretha E Loewen Friesen, Helena E Loewen (Mrs Henry F Isaac), Peter E Loewen, Jacob E Loewen, Henry E Loewen, Marie E Loewen (Mrs John F Isaac), Aganetha E Loewen (Mrs Peter J Friesen), Abram E Loewen, and John E Loewen.
Heinrich and Maria had four children, two lived to adulthood; Isaac W Loewen and William W Loewen. There is no stone for the two that died. Heinrich moved to Meade, Kansas and he 14 Mar 1905 in Jansen, Nebraska he married Margaretha Hiebert.
From Fairbury, go east on Hwy 136 to the east of Jansen past the railroad tracks. The cemetery is just east of the intersection of Hwy 136 & 574th Ave, on the south side of the road.
