Mrs. Miller grew up in the Canton area and was a member of First United Methodist Church in Canton. She worked for Sears for 20 years. After retiring shw worked at The Clothes Hanger in Canton for several years. She had lived in Tyler for the past two years.
Surviving are son , Jerry Don and Lana Miller of League City, daughter, Dianne and John Pierce of Bullard; grandchildren, Shannon Elizabeth and Rene Coppock, Andrea Dianne and Brian Broussard, William Cole and Flor Pierce.
Great-grandchildren, William James Broussard, Anna Elizabeth Broussard, Isabela Dianne Pierce; sister Sylvia Seymour of Canton, Judy Miller of Pasadena, and nieces and nephews.
Doris was preceded in death by her husband Don Miller, her parents; two sisters and five brothers.
Services for Doris Fincher Miller 90, of Bullard, formerly of Canton, are scheduled for 4 p.m. Tuesday, January 18, 2011, at Eubank Funeral Chapel in Canton. Burial will be in Haven of Memories, Canton.
