Died at 5 a.m. Friday, April 15, 1983, at her residence in Pride. She was a native and lifelong resident of Pride.. Visiting at Charlet Funeral Home, Zachary, after 10 a.m. Saturday. Religious services at 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, conducted by the Rev. Jack Varnado and the Rev. Larry Evans. Burial in Sandy Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Survived by two daughters, Mrs. W. J. (Wilma) Kelly, Pride, and Mrs. Ida Lee Fleming, Baker; a son, Wilfred Croft, Zachary; 15 grandchildren; a number of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Croft; and a son, Jesse W. Croft. She was a member of Sandy Creek Baptist Church, Pride.
