Nancy Ann Adams, 77, of Victory Drive, died at 1:26 p.m. Wednesday, May 12, 2010, at Columbus Regional Hospital.

Mrs. Adams was a 1950 graduate of Columbus High School and received a Bachelor of Science degree from Franklin College in 1954.

A homemaker, Mrs. Adams was a nursing home specialist at Columbus Regional Hospital and formerly worked at Ark Book & Gift, Cummins Book Store, The Music Box and Viewpoint Books.

Mrs. Adams enjoyed membership at First Christian Church, P.E.O. and Research Club.

An avid bridge player, she played with the same group for over 50 years. She enjoyed reading, knitting and stamping.

The funeral will be conducted at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with Milo Smith officiating. Calling will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today.

Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.

Born in Indianapolis, November 29, 1932, Mrs. Adams was the daughter of W.S. and Ernestine Unversaw Fisher M.D. She married Robert H. Adams, December 27, 1953.

Survivors include her husband of 56 years; a son, William (Patricia) Adams of Columbus; and a brother, Scott (Dana) Fisher of Cincinnati.

Mrs. Adams was preceded in death by her parents and children, Eric and Julia Ann Adams.

The funeral for Nancy Ann Adams, 77, of Victory Drive, was conducted Saturday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home with Milo Smith officiating.

Burial was at Garland Brook Cemetery.

Honorary pallbearers were Barney Carr, Harold Shoultz, Larry McCord and Dan Wertz. Active pallbearers were George Dutro, Jim Brown, Larry Critzer, Dick Jones, Buddy Bannister and Pete Orlich.
