Mrs. Lida Phares Siger, 74, 130 N Taylor St, died in her home at 12:05 a.m. Sunday, after weeks illness. A native of Dewitt County, Mrs. Sigler made her home in this city for the last 37 years, moving here from Maroa. She was born March 10, 1869. She was a member of the Christian church.

Survivors are the husband, Clarence W Sigler: a son Lieut Col Phares O Sigler, Fort Belvoir, VA; daughters Mrs. H. W Klamser, Dearborn, MI; Mrs. Frances S Knapp of Decatur; a brother William G Phares, Afton; a sister Mrs. Emma Ray, Decatur and eight grandchildren.

Funeral services will be in Dawson & Wikoff chapel. Burial will be in Fairlawn Cemetery.
