Services for Jeanette Streetman Munday, 68, of Bryan are set for 1 p.m. Monday at A&M
Church of Christ in College Station.
Foree Grove of A&M Church of Christ will officiate. Burial will be in Bryan City
Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday and from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday at Memorial
Funeral Chapel College Station.
Mrs. Munday died Thursday in Kindred Hospital in Houston.
She was born in Grapeland and had lived in Bryan since 1951. She graduated from
Stephen F. Austin High School in Bryan in 1953 and received a bachelors degree in
elementary education from Sam Houston State Teachers College in 1962. She taught in
the Bryan school district for 24 years, retiring in 1992. She was a member of Delta Kappa
Gamma Sorority, the Texas State Teachers Association and A&M Church of Christ.
Survivors include her husband, Dick Munday ofBryan; a daughter and son-in-law, Melissa
and Bryan Williamson of Bryan; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Yvonne and Rex
Kathcart of Richardson and Donna and Steve Pipkin of Spring; her father, A.U. Streetman
of Bryan; and three grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the A&M Church of Christ Building Fund, 1901 Harvey
Mitchell Parkway, College Station, Texas 77845.
