MARGARET JO {WALLACE} CORNISH, age 62, passed away Friday, January 11, 2008 in Nashoba, Oklahoma. She was born on September 12, 1945 in Elk City, Oklahoma to Marion Wallace and Bessie {Scarberry} Wallace. Margaret married Donald Earl Cornish on October 18, 1968 in Texas. She worked as a clerk and was a member of the Christ's Church in Stanley,Oklahoma.

Margaret is survived by her husband, Donald Cornish of the home; daughters, Dawn Michelle Clay of Troy, Missouri and Melinda Cornish of Sulphur, Oklahoma; grandsons, Zack Clay of Troy, Missouri and Jared Cornish of Harrah, Oklahoma; brother, Daniel Wallace of Nashoba, Oklahoma; sister, Linda Simmons of New York; Aunt Mamie Scarberry, Uncle L.J. Scarberry, Uncle Kenneth Scarberry, many nieces , nephews and cousins.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, Marion and Bessie Wallace; son, Donald; daughter, Ladonna; Aunt Wanda Sisk, Uncle M.L. Scarberry and Uncle Emmit Scarberry. Services were held at the Christ's Church in Stanley, Oklahoma on Monday, January 14, 2008 with Johnny Joslin officiating. Interment followed at the Nolia Cemetery in Nashoba, Oklahoma. Pallbearers were Dusty Sisk, Buster McDaniel, Will Robinson, Rodney Allen, Lee Kilpatrick and Mary Scarberry. Services were under the direction of the Clayton Funeral Home in Clayton, Oklahoma.
