Mrs. Ward Beeman of Lawrenceville, died at the Blossburg hospital where she had been taken suffering from cancer. The funeral was held from her late home on Monday afternoon.

Minerva was married to a Mr. Smith and she divorced him Apr 26 1897. They had a son Nelson Leroy Smith who died in California in 1953. On July 22 1897 she married Thomas Hudson who was 80 years old at the time. He was a Civil War Veteran. He died Mar 6 1898, and left Minerva his government pension, He is buried in the same cemetery as she is. On 6/29,1898 she married Warren/ Ward Beeman in Corning Ny by Rev. J W Sawyer. This clipping was in the Wellsboro Gazette.
She signed Warren's death certificate as Minerva L Beeman not Mary as his obituary states.
Additional information: Minerva's daughter Bernice Smith Tool what is called as the Orphan's train & found adopted Parents named Hiles. They must have raised her & she took their name as Hiles.

Not in Lawrenceville Power Cemetery records nor has a stone been found in walk throughs; however, some records may have been lost due to flooding in the area. Memorial will be honored in the Lawrenceville Cemetery records as possibly buried here.
