Mrs. Gloria Adams Nance
Mrs. Gloria Adams Nance, 22, of 333 Third Street, died Thursday afternoon at the Medical College in Charleston after months declining health and one week serious illness.
She was the wife of Curtis Wayne Nance and a daughter of Mrs. Gertrude Adams Sceirlle of Gastonia and her father, Wayne Adams, of Murphy, N. C. She was a member of Central Baptist Church.
Services will be held Sunday at 3 p. m. at the Shuford-Hatcher Chapel, conducted by Rev. Steve Williams, Rev. Walter Dobbins, and Rev. Joe Belcher. Burial will be in Frederick Memorial Gardens.
Also surviving, three sons, Curtis Wayne, Jr., Ronald, and Donald, all of the home; Luther and Eddie Adams of Gaffney; one sister, Miss Patricia Adams of Gaffney; grandmother, Mrs. T. A. Gossett of Gaffney.
Pallbearers: Dean Corn, Dane Phillips, Wayne and Harold Dover, Marvin Ramsey, Monroe Phillips. The body will be at the home after 11 Saturday morning.
