Statesboro - Mr. Harold J. Best, age 78, died Friday at East Georgia Regional Medical Center. He was born in Dover, Ga.; and graduated from Rocky Ford High School in 1950, having perfect attendance throughout his school years. Mr. Best was in the Armed Services, serving 23 years in the Air Force as a flight engineer, and retiring in 1972. He married Doris V. Roscoe of Dover, Delaware, and they relocated in Statesboro, Ga. Mr. Best owned and operated Best Radiator Shop for 35 years.

The funeral service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Hodges-Moore Funeral Home. Burial will be in Clito Baptist Church Cemetery.

Hodges-Moore Funeral Home of Statesboro will be in charge of the arrangements.
