Charles Barnette Price, Jr., age 65 of Texarkana, Texas, died at his residence Monday, November 29, 2010. He was born June 2, 1945, in Texarkana, Arkansas.

He was a retired insurance broker and owner of Barnette Price Insurance Agency and was owner of Prissy Chrissy Ranch. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and served in the Viet Nam War. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and was a Volunteer for Best Care Hospice. He was a graduate of Texas High School and held degrees from SAU and the University of Houston.

He was preceded in death by a grandson, Tyler Wade Reynolds.

He is survived by his wife of 16 years, Jan Pringle Price; two daughters and one son in-law, Melanie & Jerry Reynolds of Springdale, Arkansas; Jill Price of Dallas, Tx.; one son, Kyle Price of Dallas, Tx.; one step-daughter, Larkin Dibbern of Wichita, Ks.; two step-sons, Jake Potter and Josh Potter of Texarkana; two grandsons, Dylan & Riley Reynolds; one brother and two sisters and several other relatives.

A celebration of Barnette's life and visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 1, 2010, at the Prissy Chrissy Ranch on FM 2148 South. Arrangements are under the direction of Texarkana Funeral Home, Texas.
