 He was a very fine man, He visited Dublin sometime in 1929-1930, There are photo's of the visit in the National library of Ireland, My late father was one of the Sea Scouts selected to greet him, My father later had a successful career in the Royal Navy as I had myself and between us we put in nearly 80 years, Not bad for an ambition Fired by a meeting with the greatest Naval officer since Admiral Horatio Lord Nelson.
