Mr Wrinkle was born in Knoxville, Tennessee, the youngest of six children born to the marriage of Lester Arnold and Laura Virginia Ramsey Wrinkle, Sr.
Carroll received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Stephen F. Austin University and his Master of Arts Degree from New York University.
He taught High School English for 32 years in Fort Wingate, New Mexico, Mabank and Kirbyville. Mr. Wrinkle is preceded in death by his parents and his five siblings.
