 Mr. Knott, You were a covered wagon train emmigrant to California. As a child, I loved to see this diorama at Knott's Berry Far and listen to the little girl tell her mother she was thirsty. I wanted to give her a drink of water...and I was always impressed with families who crossed the plains before any modern conveniences were available.  Having been a Train Bandit at Knott's Berry Farm for twelve years and seeing the changes happening then, I am glad that I got to see the Farm as Walter wanted it.It is an honor to be listed in the decendants of Pioneers Registry with Mr. Knott and his family. May we never forget our heritage and the sacrafices made so we can live in the comfort we now have. Thank goodness for Walter Knott and his efforts to preserve that legacy.
