Growing up, Knotts Berry Farm was my back yard. I remember seeing you around the park when I was just a kid. It was a nice place back in the day. Take it easy, Walter. -

Mr. Knott, You were a covered wagon train emmigrant to California. As a child, I loved to see this diorama at Knott's Berry Far and listen to the little girl tell her mother she was thirsty. I wanted to give her a drink of water...and I was always impressed with families who crossed the plains before any modern conveniences were available. I wish Knott's Berry Farm could've stayed the same...so many happy memories. -Anonymous Added: Nov. 11, 2008 |

Thank you for many happy memories. As a Southern California native I will never forget you, the Boysenberry, your original berry farm and small amusement park it used to be, just not the same these days. AND yes Calico. Thank you for perserving our California history. -

Thanks for the blessing of making such a beautiful place for our generation to grow up in! The mynah birds, the seal pool, the chicken dinners, the Old West - even Sad Eye Joe!! Calico, etc....You are responsible for making the era come alive for us. Thanks for the wonderful times - Blessings -

Though I no longer live in California, I do remember what a wonderful place Knotts Berry Farm was to take my children for fun and a picnic. They loved the mine ride and the petting zoo. I liked the pies...Thank you, and Happy Birthday -

Having been a Train Bandit at Knott's Berry Farm for twelve years and seeing the changes happening then, I am glad that I got to see the Farm as Walter wanted it.
It is an honor to be listed in the decendants of Pioneers Registry with Mr. Knott and his family.
May we never forget our heritage and the sacrafices made so we can live in the comfort we now have.
Thank goodness for Walter Knott and his efforts to preserve that legacy.
Those who destroy it will get theirs! -
