Mrs. Jennie Winter, resident of Pelican Lake Nursing Home, Ashby, died there Friday, Aug. 20. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Grace United Methodist Church, Rev. John C. Kilde officiating. Burial will be in Knollwood Memorial Cemetery.
She was born May 4, 1884, at Fergus Falls, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Siegle. She married Henry J. Winter Sept. 6, 1929. He died Aug. 25, 1967. She lived in Fergus Falls until 1970 when she entered the nursing home.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Harvey (Eleanor) Halvorson, Fergus Falls; Mrs. Evelyn McNulty, Libby, Mont.; Mrs. Loy Mahacek, Glenville; three sons, Marvin and Kenneth Knutson, Long Beach, Calif.; Willis Knutson, North Highlands, Calif.; 18 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Harold Lund, Underwood.
