- Beautiful Savior Is My Lord Jesus Christ
 Added: Sep. 4, 2014

Thank you again, Richard, for your ultimate sacrifice allowing us to have the freedom to take our granddaughters to a Memorial Day minor league baseball game. A moment of silence was observed for you and all who have given their lives for the USA. I hope and pray that you are resting in peace and looking down and smiling knowing that you are remembered and admired greatly.

You are not forgotten. I continue to wear the MIA bracelet that bears your name and take the opportunity to share your story of heroism to those who ask about it.

I wore and still have a POW bracelet with CWO2 Richard Bauman. I cherish it so much and somehow felt a kinship with you even though we were to never cross paths. Rest in peace.

I wore a POW/MIA bracelet with the name of Sgt. Bobby Harris and the date 3-17-71. Bobby was in a helicopter with Richard Bauman and Craig Dix when it was shot down in Cambodia. Bobby died; Richard and Craig were MIA. I remember them often, and especially on Memorial Day and March 17. My first child, a son, was born on March 17, 1978.I remain in awe of the courage, bravery, and sacrifice of Bobby, Richard, and Craig.
