GILBERTSVILLE - Orrin M. Belden, 89, of Gilbertsville, died Friday, June 19, 1992 at Fox Memorial Nursing Home, Oneonta.

He was born April 6, 1903 in the town of Butternuts, the son of George and Rose (Carr) Belden. He was married to Mildred Tripp on Oct. 10, 1925.

He spent his childhood in the Gilbertsville area and attended Gilbertsville schools.

He was a dairy farmer and a member of the Presbyterian Church in Gilbertsville.

He is survived by his wife, Mildred Belden; one daughter, Rose Tiffany of New Berlin; one son, Robert Belden of Rome; 10 grandchildren, four great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Pearl Goodspeed in 1929.

Funeral services will be held today, June 22 at 2 p.m. at the Dakin Funeral Home, New Berlin, with the Rev. Paul Melson, pastor of the First Baptist Church, South New Berlin, officiating.

Interment will be in Brookside Cemetery, Gilbertsville.

Calling hours were held Sunday, June 21 from 7-9 p.m. at the Dakin Funeral Home, New Berlin.
