OBITUARY NOTICE
Mrs. J.B. Bowen died near Carrier, Saturday, March 12, 1904, and was laid to rest in Carrier cemetery on Monday, March 14. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. Hale of Enid, and were attended by a large number of the sorrowing neighbors and friends of deceased. Mrs. Bowen was born in Green County, Tennessee, May 2, 1849. She was married in Class Co., Ill., September 5, 1878. Three sons blessed the union, N.H., J.C., and C.O. Bowen. She was a most affectionate mother and kind neighbor, whom to know was to honor and respect.
