Paul Raymond Bisbee, 69, of South Paris, passed away suddenly at Stephens Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, Oct. 19.

He was born in Waterford, Oct. 11, 1941, to Carl Edwin and Nina Marie Millett Bisbee. He attended area schools, graduating from Paris High School in 1960. He then entered the Marines, where he was in the reserves.

He married Dianna Jean Monk in Turner on Jan. 21, 1965. Together they raised three children in their South Paris home on Elm Hill Road. He worked for his uncles, Elmer and Vern Millett in the logging industry. After Elmer passed away in 1977, he went to work as a truck mechanic for Ripley and Fletcher, working there until his retirement in 2005.

He spent his retirement years helping out various family members, especially taking his granddaughter, Katie to places she needed to go and helping his son, Todd build his home right next door.

He enjoyed hunting, working on cars, racing, football and baseball and being with his family. He used to race at Oxford Plains Speedway for many years with his family. He was a part-time police officer for the Paris Police Department. He was always willing to help people in need. He loved practical jokes and spending time with his classmates.

He leaves his loving family, including his wife, Dianna, of South Paris; his sister, Linda Bisbee of West Paris; his daughter, Teri Fleck of Eaton, N.H., and her three daughters, Jessica Lynne, Courtney Mae and Rebekah Marie; his daughter, Tami Lilley and her husband, Robin, of Poland and their children, Nathan Corson of Sumner, Katie Ann Corson of Poland and Andrew Lilley of Poland; his son, Todd Bisbee and his wife, Jessica and their children, Alex James Moore, Michaela Danielle Bisbee and Jordayn Marie Bisbee, all of South Paris; special nieces that he thought of as daughters, Deanna Robertson and her family of Oxford and Michele Bisbee and her daughter of South Paris; nieces, Renee Bisbee and her family of Voluntown, Conn., and Buffy Regalado and her family of Portland, Texas; along with many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.

He was predeceased by brother, Keith; and parents, Carl and Nina Bisbee.
