Mrs. Edmison was born November 9, 1930 in Abilene, Texas to Fred and Willie Vay "Langston" Wylie. She graduated from Moran High School in 1945 and attended the University of Texas. She married D. Drannon Edmison June 6, 1950 in Austin. They moved to Moran from Pampa in 1990. They had lived in Perryton, Odessa, and Borger before moving to Pampa. Mrs. Edmison was the Business Office Manager and co-owner of M&D Oilfield Supply. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Moran. She was a member of Eastern Star in Moran, a member of Beta Sigma Phi, a Docent at Old Jail Art Center, and a member of the Moran Study Club.
Margaret's greatest joys were being a wife, mother, and grandmother ("Maggie"). Margaret always felt special blessings from family and friends. She didn't just believe in miracles and in the power of prayer, she depended upon them. She will be loved, missed and forever remembered.
Mrs. Edmison is survived by her husband D. of Moran; one son D. Edmison Jr. and wife Teresa of Moran; two daughters, Diann Edmison May of Moran and Melinda Maurer and husband Allen of Albany; one brother, Fred Wylie Jr. of Moran; six grandchildren, Jennifer Edmison of Moran, Karyn Edmison and fiancé Chris Price of Houston, Kendall Haskit of San Diego, California, Jeremy Maurer of Austin, Melissa Maurer of Abilene, and Melany Maurer of Albany.
