She served as the Regent for the Mary Ball Chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution in Tacoma for the years 1924-1926.

Cora was the daughter of Cornelius C. and Cornelia Rebecca (Stoner) Wing. She married Charles A. E. Naubert in 1865 and was the mother of Ethel, Frank, Amy, Harry, and Florence. Her daughter Florence died May 16, 1910 at the age of 9 years.

The family resided in Tacoma. She died there on May 29, 1951.

Cora Wing Naubert, widow of Charles A. E. Naubert, a member of one of the oldest families in Tacoma, died Tuesday at her home, 3212 No. 21st St. She was born in Salem, Iowa, in 1866, and came to what was then New Tacoma, Washington territory, in 1881, with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Wing, at the age of 15. Mr. and Mrs. Naubert were married in Tacoma in 1885 and celebrated their golden wedding here in 1935. Mr. Naubert died in 1940.

Mrs. Naubert was a member of the Wing family of America whose ancestors settled in New England in 1632. She belonged to Pilgrim Congregational church, was a member and a past regent of Mary Ball chapter D.A.R., and had been made an honorary member of the Tacoma Day-Nursery board.

She leaves two sons and two daughters, Frank C. and Harry W. Naubert and Mrs. Ethel N. Hamilton, all of Tacoma, and Mrs. John W. Bush of Kent. There are eight grandchildren: Mrs. Stanton Battin of Seattle, Mrs. Lloyd Ottini of Kent, Mrs. Roy J. Funk Jr. of Minneapolis and, in Tacoma, Richard, Gerald and Harry W. Naubert Jr., Naubert Hamilton and Mrs. R. O. Shupe. There are 13 great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Frank L. Baker of Tacoma; a niece, Mrs. Alvah Riehl of San Francisco and a nephew, Francis Eugene Wing of Tacoma.

Funeral Set - Services for Mrs. Cora Wing Naubert, shown above, will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. at C.O. Lynn chapel, the Rev. C. L. Covell officiating, followed by burial at Tacoma cemetery.
