Katherine E. Huffnagle, 87, formerly of Lewistown, died at 11:02 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2015, at Locust Grove Retirement Community, Mifflin.
She was born on Aug. 15, 1927, in Milroy, a daughter of the late Raymond Roosevelt and Agnes Martha (Owens) Goss.
She was preceded in death by: a daughter, Sandra K. Yetter; her first husband, William N. Benner Sr.; and her second husband, Charles R. Huffnagle.
Surviving are: a son, William N. Benner Jr. and wife, Ruth, of Lewistown; three grandchildren, Joseph Yetter Jr., Diane Kellerman and Lisa Colpetzer; eight great-grandchildren, Andrew Yetter, Kurtis Kellerman and wife, Ashley, Kassidy Kellerman, Emily Colpetzer, Gabriel Colpetzer, Kaiden Kellerman, Kaleb Kellerman; and Kenzie Kellerman; a great-great-granddaughter expected; and sisters, Miriam Coons, of Myerstown, and Nancy Druckenmiller and husband, Blair, of McClure.
She was a seamstress and worked at a shirt factory. She had attended Paintersville Christian and Missionary Alliance Church.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 2, 2015, at Bohn Funeral Home, Reedsville, with Pastor Thomas Wright officiating. A viewing will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. on Monday, at the funeral home. Interment will take place in Woodlawn Cemetery, Milroy.
