Edna M. Edgorf, 82, of Boyden, died Monday (April 30, 1990) in the good Samaritan Center at George.

Services were held at 10:30 a.m. Friday in St. Paul Lutheran church, rural Hull. Rev. Paul Birkedal officiated. Burial was in St. Paul Lutheran cemetery under direction of Vander Ploeg funeral home in Boyden.

Mrs. Egdorf, the former Edna Bohlen, was born Oct. 31, 1907, in Dorsey, Ill., the daughter of Herman and Anna (Stein) Bohlen. She came to Akron with her parents as a child. At the time of her father's death in 1919 she was adopted by Henry and Ida Schloetje. She married Ernest Egdorf Sept. 4, 1930, at Hull. The couple made their home on a farm northwest of Boyden for 45 years and moved into Boyden in 1975. She entered the nursing home in George March 19, 1990.

Survivors include her husband; six daughters and their husbands, June and Dan Van Dyk and Arlene and LeRoy Woelber, all of Boyden, Janice and John Kuiper of Fort Dodge, Carol and William Ferguson of North Ridgeville, Ohio, Kathleen and Lawrence Sohl of Hull and Candace and Eugene Morfitt of Fresno, Calif., four sons and their wives, Eugene and Lorraine and Dennis and Henrietta, all of Boyden, Ronald and Tylene of Sanborn and Arlan and Linda of Orange City; a brother William Bohlen of Akron; three sisters, Mrs. Helen Weseman of Paullina, Mrs. Edward (Lois) Mieras of Sioux City and Mrs. Anna Krick of Denison; 26 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers.
