Fulgencio Urioste, 99 years old, a longtime resident of Las Vegas, passed away on Monday Oct. 4, 2010, at an Albuquerque nursing home.
He was born on January 24, 1911, in Chaperito, N.M., to the late Vicetacion and Julianita Gomez Urioste. Along with his parents, the is also preceded in death by his brothers Jose Eloy, Adonio, and Ruben; sisters Juanita Baca and Fidelia Urioste.
Fulgencio is survived by his daughter, Gloria; brothers and sisters, Magdalena Chavez, Sarita Smith, Isabel Ortiz and Ramon Urioste. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 6, 2010, at the chapel at Nelson Funeral Home. Interment will follow the service at the Church of Christ Cemetery in Las Vegas. Serving as pallbearers are Eugenio Urioste, Juan Urioste, Thomas Urioste, Mario Gallegos and Prescilla Urioste.
