DEATH CLAIMS JAMES COOPER
Marion township Youth Died Early Today at Dunn Hospital From Appendicitis

James Cooper, 13 years old, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Cooper, residents a mile north of Mitchell, died at 12:15 a.m. today at the Dunn Hospital where he underwent an operation for appendicitis Thursday night.

The boy was removed to the Haverly mortuary in Mitchell for burial preparation. Funeral arrangements had not been completed as The Times goes to press at noon today.

The boy's father, returning from Lafayette Thursday where he was called by the death of his father, Jasper cooper, whose funeral occurred at the Haverly mortuary Friday afternoon, found James ill and he was brought to the Dunn Hospital here that night and operated upon.
