Sitting here in the dead of winter --coldest in years -- with thoughts of another major league season to come. Thoughts turn to great games and great players like you, Joe......"These are the saddest of possible words: "Tinker to Evers to Chance." Trio of bear cubs, and fleeter than birds, Tinker and Evers and Chance. Ruthlessly pricking our gonfalon[a] bubble, Making a Giant hit into a double[b] Words that are heavy with nothing but trouble: "Tinker to Evers to Chance."

my spring and summers in the 70's was spent at Tinker Feild with the Orlando Twins and was able to take my sun there when he was young in the 90's with the Orlando Ray's . We sure do miss your ball park it was a place the families could go and enjoy the afternoon and kids prayed for a double-header!! Thank you to a great player.
