Fred Feldhusen

Fred Feldhusen, 84, Chilton, passed away at the Park Avenue Rest home, Fond du Lac, Sunday after a lengthy illness.

He was born in New Holstein on Oct 10, 1866, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Detlef Feldhusen. He married Miss Margaret Sell in New Holstein on October 29, 1890. The couple lived in Calumet County until 1933 when they moved to Chilton. They celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in 1940. Mrs. Feldhusen preceded her husband in death in January, 1944.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Henry (Linda) Bublitz of Buffalo Springs, ND, Mrs. John (Jeanette) Schnitzke of Waukesha and Mrs. Ervin (Florence) Schaefer of Waukesha: and four sons, Milton of Glenbeulah, Hubert of Sheboygan and Edward and Fred, Jr., both of Waukesha. Also surviving are a brother, Henry Feldhusen of Beach, ND; and three sisters, Mrs. Chas. Peik of Chilton, Mrs. Louise Tennyson of Milwaukee and Mrs. Bert Pendegrast of Bowman, ND. Mr. Feldhusen also had nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. A daughter, Mrs. Wm. Westfahl, preceded him in death.
