"Mrs. Emma M. Abbott, 50, was pronounced dead on arrival at a St Joseph hospital this morning. Her home was at 7021 King Hill Avenue.

A native of Pickering, Mrs. Abbott had lived in St Joseph for the past ten years.

She is survived by her husband, Frank Abbott, and one son, Johnny Abbott, both of the home; two stepsons, Donald Abbott and Aaron Abbott, both of Higginsville, Mo.; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Linda Knox of Weston; three brothers, Frank Weaver and Donald Weaver, both of Cameron, and Charles Weaver of Princeton; and a sister, Mrs. Virginia French of Smithville."
