Joy was born on Jan. 28, 1938, in Canadian to Elvis and Mary Killebrew. She married Jim Jackson on Sept. 24, 1954, in New Mexico. She was a member of Trinity Fellowship Church.
Survivors include her husband, Jim Jackson of Amarillo; a son, Michael Jackson of Greenbriar, Tenn.; two daughters, Antonia Spaeth and husband Robert of Dallas and Alissa Leahy and husband Richard of Houston; a sister, Jean Keehn of Amarillo; eight grandchildren, Aaron Clark and wife Mandy, Joshua Warr, Noah Warr, Michaela Jackson, Charity Jackson, Hannah Leahy, Megan Leahy and Charlotte Leahy; and two great-grandchildren, Hannah Jane Clark and Maxam Clark.
The family suggests memorials be to Alzheimer's Panhandle Chapter, 415 W. Eighth, Amarillo, TX 79101.
