Trochelman, Patricia A. (Grimm) age 79, passed away peacefully on August 13, 2010 after battling cancer. Patricia was born in Hopedale, Ohio on October 6, 1930 to John and Gladys Grimm. At 18, she and her sister and best friend, Bernice, moved to Dayton to work at WPAFB. In 1954 Patricia married Ralph D. Trochelman of Dayton, raising four children in Huber Heights. Pat loved crafts of all sorts, her creations eagerly presented as gifts to her friends, family and charities. Pat mastered the arts of crocheting, knitting, sewing clothing, and cross-stitching, but she was particularly fond of quilting. A true admirer of nature, Patricia loved to point out its beauty. This sweet woman will be profoundly missed by her friends and family. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents and husband Ralph. She is survived by children R. Douglas (Kathy) Trochelman of Hudson, OH; Linda Brooks of Greenwood, IN; Lisa (Chuck) Castle of Grayson, GA; and Roger (Judy) Trochelman of Chattanooga, TN. Surviving grandchildren are Dawn (Josh) Helton, Joshua (Andrea) Brooks, and Emily and Peter Castle. Great-grandchildren are Julianna Brooks, Faith and Josiah Helton; Sister S. Bernice Anderson of Beavercreek OH; Brother J. William Grimm of Hopedale, OH. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the American Cancer Society, Hospice of Dayton, or the American Heart Association. Funeral Service 10:30 AM Tuesday, August 17, 2010 at the Marker & Heller Funeral Home, Huber Heights Chapel, 5844 Old Troy Pike. Pastor A. H. Sampley officiating. Interment Poplar Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 5-8 PM.
