Dorothy Tolbert Barnes, 73, of Houston, Texas departed this life Saturday, July 24, 2010. A native of Opelousas, Louisiana, she lived in Port Arthur, Texas for more than 30 years.
Survivors include her husband Edward Barnes; 3 daughters Barbara Taylor, Doris Latulas and Sharyon Barnes; 2 sisters Linda Lilly and Faye Toussand; 4 brothers Donald Ray, James, Ernest and Ronald Tolbert; 4 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation is scheduled from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. Friday, July 30, 2010 at St. James Catholic Church with the funeral service immediately following. Burial will follow in Calvary Catholic Cemetery under the direction of Gabriel Funeral Home.
