Alice E. Bell, 87 passed away on Tuesday Oct. 26, 2010 at Gibson General Hospital in Princeton.
She was born in Bicknell, Indiana on May 7, 1923 to Griffith and Bessy (Schafer) Evans.
Alice lived in Princeton most of her life. She had worked for 15 years as a salesperson and retired from Smith Jewelry in Princeton and had previously worked for Dr. O.M. Graves for 30 years. She was a member of the Broadway Christian Church in Princeton, the V.F.W. Post 1147 Ladies Aux and the American Legion Post 25 Ladies Aux.
She is survived by cousins; and her caregivers, Jean Kirk and Wanda Smith of Princeton.
She is preceded in death by her parents; and her husband of 59 years, Paul Bell on Jan. 1, 2006.
Funeral Services will be held at the graveside at 10 a.m. Friday Oct. 29, 2010 at the Oddfellows Cemetery in Princeton with Rev. John Dunn officiating. Burial will follow. Those attending the services are asked to meet at the cemetery. Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton is handling the arrangements.
