Graduate of Purcell High School, employed at the Wright Aeronautical Corp before entering service. Twin brother Robert, radioman third class enrolled in Naval Aviation and stationed at Pensacola, FL and a second brother Sgt John Ausdenmore, is a ground crew of the Air Forces in India.

He is believed to have been killed at the Salerno Beachhead
