Services were held Friday Jan 3 at Chisago Lake Lutheran Church with Rev Russell Peterson officiating. Music was provided by Rita Knutson and Carrie Holmquist.
Pallbearers were Russell Anderson, Edward Eckdahl, George Dvorak, Randy Dvorak, Gordon Carlson and Robert Bass.
Interment was at Hillside Cemetery.
She was born to Otto and Christine Sellman North of Shafer on Dec 10, 1896. At the age of 6, she moved to Center City to live with foster parents the Carl Mattsons.
She married Henphen Carlson on April 30, 1921, they lived in Center City.
She worked as a telephone operator for more than 25 years. She lived in her own home until 4 years ago when she moved to Parmly Lakeview Apt. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary..
Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband, Henphen in 1960, a granddaughter, Susan and 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
Surviving are her son, Loren and his wife Ida Mae of Center City, 3 granddaughters, MRs Robert (Barbara Bass of New Hope, Mrs. Edward (Kathleen) Eckdahl of New Germany and Mrs. Gordon (Nancy) Carlson of White Bear Lake, 10 great grandchildren and nieces and nephews
