Mrs. G. H. Parrish, 49 years of age, died at the Baptist hospital in Alexandria Tuesday morning at 8:30 o'clock following an illness with pneumonia. Mrs. Parrish, who has been residing at the Tremont Lumber Camp several miles east of Winnfield, was carried to the sanitarium Friday of last week.

Funeral services were held at the Winnfield First Baptist Church Wednesday afternoon at 2:30, with Rev. B. C. Land, pastor, and the Rev. John Kitchingham, pastor Columbia Baptist Church, officiating. Interment was in the Winnfield Cemetery.

The deceased was the wife of G. H. Parrish, employee of the Tremont Lumber Company for many years. They formerly resided at Joyce, Selma, and Zenoria. For the past year they have lived several miles east of here at the Tremont Camp. Mrs. Parrish was a member of the Zenoria Baptist Church.

Surviving are the husband, one son and seven daughters, Homer Parrish of Seattle, Washington; Miss Marie Parrish, teacher in the Winnfield school; Miss Willie Parrish, teacher in Sikes High School; Miss Edith Parrish, student at State Normal; Mrs. Ruby Johns[t]on of Mansfield; and Evelyn, Louise, and Gloria Nell.
