A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at 11 a.m. today at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Golden Meadow, with burial in Cheramie Cemetery in Galliano.
She is survived by three sons, Leander Gaspard Jr., Jeffrey Gaspard and Donald Gaspard; daughter, Robin Gaspard Lee; brothers, Eldon Lafont and Henry Perez Jr.; 14 grandchildren and two step-grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leander Joseph Gaspard Sr.; and parents, Howell and Eliska Callais Lafont. She was Catholic.
