Dodd City- Graveside services for Arvele Taylor, age 61, of Dodd City will be held Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. at Forest Grove Cemetery in Telephone, TX. Rev. Marty Hutchings will officiate the service. Arvele Taylor went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 18, 2010.

He was born on December 19, 1948 to Oran and Opal Taylor. Arvele was raised and attended school in the Riverby area. He was well known to all as a highly skilled farm equipment mechanic. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, being outdoors, and spending time with his family. He was of the Baptist faith.

During his journey in life he has touched so many hearts and made many of friends along the way. He will be greatly missed by all.

Arvele is survived by his wife of 7 years Linda Taylor of Dodd City, TX; sons and spouses Lynn and Lorey, and Bubby and Heather; daughters and spouses Tammy and Randy, and Michelle and Brian; brother Junior Taylor and wife Neva; sister Carolyn Goley; mother-in-law Hazel Kelton; brother-in-law Bobby Kelton and wife Kelley. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Arvele was blessed to have 2 surviving aunts.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Doris Jackson, and son Jamie Taylor.

Pallbearers will be Blanton Hanes, Bud Swayne, Chad Langstan, Kyle Smith, J.R. Wilkerson, and Wayne Fry.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 20, 2010 from 6:30 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home in Bonham, Texas.
