Daughter and the last of twelve children of Will H. and Katherine Braswell Rushing-She was preceded in death by her husband William Anson Diehl on May 2, 1997. He was born March 21, 1917 a son of Alfred and Elsie Diehl. A memorial service was held for him at Philadelphia Presbyterian Church on Bain School Road in Mecklenburg County.
