Billy Ray Adams, Jr., 43, of Springfield, died Friday, Jan. 31, 2003, at St. John's Regional Health Center in Springfield.

He was born Oct. 1, 1959, in Lebanon.

He is survivied by his wife, Jennifer, of the home; his parents, Billy Ray Adams of Harrison, Ark., and Luci Waggoner Adams of Lebanon; three sisters, Retta Kelm of Franklin, Tenn., Phyllis Smith of Lebanon, and Sheila Semsch of Edmond, Okla; his grandfather, Paul Adams of Yellville, Ark.; 10 nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.

He was a Baptist.

Funeral services for Billy Ray Adams, Jr. were held at 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 3, 2003, at the Second Freewill Baptist Church in Lebanon with David Douglas officiating.

Burial was in Mount Rose Memorial Park under the direction of the Thieme-Shadel-Hicks Funeral Service at Colonial Chapel of Lebanon.

Visitation was at the funeral home from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday.

A memorial has been established for the Carcinoid Cancer Foundation Inc. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
