HAMPSTEAD, N.H. — Charles A. Alartosky, of Hampstead and former resident of Haverhill, died on Sunday, July 4, 2010.

Born and raised in Haverhill, son of Charles H. and Margaret (Lynn) Alartosky, he attended local schools and was a graduate Summa Cum Laude from Springfield College with a bachelor's degree in human services. He went on to work for local leather shops and later worked for Lucent Technologies for 21 years.

A member of St. Anne's Parish, Charles was also a member of the Telephone Pioneers, CWA Retirees and a Friend of Bill. An avid Red Sox and Patriots fan, he also enjoyed reading and fishing.

Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Norma (Daly) Alartosky; a son, Mark C. Alartosky and his fiancee Kathy Stanton of Haverhill; three daughters and sons-in-law, Lynne M. and Joseph Fournier of Merrimac, Mary C. and Scott Marcelais of Plaistow and Ann M. Alartosky of Worcester; and two grandchildren, David M. and Laura T. Alartosky.
