Marjorie J. "Marge" Brenaman, 69, of Fergus Falls, a kind and loving wife, mother and friend to many, died Wednesday, Aug. 29, 2001. at the Broen Memorial Home in Fergus Falls after a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born June 1, 1932 in Fergus Falls, the daughter of Carl and Mamie (Bappe) Buchholz. She was baptized June 19, 1932 and confirmed April 15, 1944 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Friberg Township. She attended school in Friberg Township and graduated from Fergus Falls High School in 1950.

On July 19, 1951, she married LeRoy Brenaman at Emmanuel Lutheran Church. Some time after their marriage, she joined LeRoy in Munich, Germany, where he was stationed. She taught shorthand to the enlisted soldiers.

After returning to the United States, the couple made their home in Fergus Falls where they raised their three children. She worked several different jobs throughout the years, with the most recent being an Avon Representative for 20 years.

She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church. Her devotion to the church showed how important her faith was to her. She also served as church treasurer.

Preceding her in death were parents; and four brothers. Gerald, Everett, Lloyd and Irvin.

Survivors include her husband, LeRoy of Fergus Falls: two sons, David (Janet) Brenaman of Fergus Falls and Donald Brenaman of Peyton. Colo.; one daughter, Barbara (Bill) Conner of Phoenix, Ariz.; five grandchildren, Christopher, Lana and Kelsey Brenaman, Missy Brandner and Darren Conner; one brother, Howard Buchholz of Fergus Falls; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation: 3 to 5 p.m. Friday at the Olson Funeral Home. Visitation will resume one hour prior to the service at the church.

Service: 1 p.m. Saturday in the Faith Lutheran Church in Fergus Falls
