He is survived by his wife, Minnie Lee Patterson Elliott; two daughters, Tanya C. Elliott, Cleveland, and Jennifer N. Elliott-Buffington and husband Casey, Baton Rouge; two sons, Mark A. Elliott and wife Martinet, Cleveland, and Eric R. Elliott, U.S. Army, serving in Iraq, and wife Moesha; and five grandchildren, Christopher, Ashford and Jasmine and Eric Jr. and Shontae.
He was preceded in death by his father, Calvin Elliott Sr.; mother, Sudie Howell-Elliott; and brothers, Raymond Elliott and Calvin Elliott Jr.
He loved jazz music.
