Died at Daughter's Home on Her 78th Birthday;
Survived by One Daughter and Three Sons
Ella Josephine Roberts, daughter of John B. and Angeline Roberts was born at Quincy, Illinois, May 6, 1860, and passed away at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Willis Roberts, Dunlap, on her 78th birthday, May 6, 1938.
She was united in marriage to Joseph N. Pounds at Modale, Iowa March 16, 1879, who passed away, August 6, 1912.
To this union was born two daughters and four sons, Myrtle Grant, Vesta Mabel, John Lewis, Paul A. Irvin Price, and Vera Marie. One son, Myrtle Grant, died in infancy. Vera Marie died January 10, 1902.
Besides one daughter and three sons, she is survived by eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, one brother and three sisters.
